Our garden grown Kapoor Tulsi basil has a distinctly sweet and spicy floral smell that you may not expect from a basil! Tulsi is a sacred plant in the Hindu Religion and has been grown and used for thousands of years in India for its tonic and medicinal properties. Tulsi’s astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties make it a great addition to a skincare regime. Hydrosols are suited to all skin types and can be incorporated into any skincare ritual. Used as a facial toner, hydrosols will help balance the pH of your skin before applying a moisturizer, help remove excess oil, dirt and debris and help to tighten your pores. All of our hydrosols are artisanally distilled in a copper alembic still from plants we sustainably harvest from the forests of Michigan’s Sunrise side, or grow organically in our garden. We pH balance the hydrosols to the ideal pH for your skin, then add Leucidal (a natural preservative made from Lactobacillus)
